I am trying to use AD LDS (active directory lightweight directory service), with ASP.NE membership provider.
so, I configure the web.config to use the AD LDS instance I created, and it is working.
I can use "Configure ASP.NET" to add users, and manage the users, and it is working fine, because I can see those users being created in AD LDS, by using "ADSI Edit"
but when I create a user using "ADSI Edit", I cannot see that users from ASP.NET.
If I use "Configure ASP.NET" feature, and list the users, it just list only the ones that created by configure ASP.NET
As you can see from the image below, I created employee1, and employee3 by ASP.NET, and I can see them .
But employee2, I created with ADSI Edit, and even I checked and it has all the same properties, but I cannot see it from ASP.NET configuration, and I cannot use it to login
