C# Web-Application:
Hi
I write a string to an Access-Database (*.accdb) into a memo-field.
This string is placed into the Update-Command like . . . .+ ObjectName.text + . . . ., placing the remaining sql-part around it.
Looking at the updated table in Access 2007 the field seem to be empty. But the data WAS written to the table, since the same data is visible again as soon as I import the database into Excel.
When I relpace the part ObjectName.text with. . . . .+ "this is a text" + . . . ., then the data is visible in Access 2007.
For the moment I don't know, if this is an only Access 2007 problem or nor. But I need to check in this forum, if there is a case, where string-data, which is written to a Access-Database can "wrongly" be invisible due to a text-format or coding- problem, which a need to correct in my webapp.
By the way: The data IS visible, as it is read from the database and display ...
