Architecture question. I have notes associated with gridview records that I don't want to display in a gridview because it increases the row size. I have been experimenting with a textbox control above the gridview that gets set by the codebehind when a user clicks select on a gridview record. I am relatively inexperienced and have noted that this places a lot of overhead in the code behind. I think that this has already been done before and that im making it needlessly complicated. What would be a better approach?
