We are on a large intranet using ssl and windows authentication.
I have a vb program that checks which code the user enters. Based on that code
a pdf file is displayed in browser. Originally , the pdf files were in a subdirectory
of the website. But, since they could potentially be accessed by other users, I
moved them to a secure area of the server not available to intranet users.

Now I plan to use vb code to stream the specific pdf from this location to a browser window
after the user enters their appropriate code. I know that pdf files are not secured
in asp. Will this data be secure? We want to avoid entering any additional passwords.
Is there a better way to do this? Thanks for any advice. ...
