Dear MS AD Gurus,

WOuld appreciate if you my Q is clarified:

I have a bunch of applications. One app will authenticate a user against Active

directory by supplying (u-id and passwd).

This is where my fuzziness starts.

a) What will be the object (or result) that MS AD provides as a return (result of) to authentication request?

[pls assume, I am able to talk to AD by several means e.g. ADSI]

b) when other applications need to access AD, _but without re-authenticating the same user/pwd, what credentials they need to submit to AD? I am assuming that the object/token

passed on during the first authentication, needs to be submitted (step a, auth app).

Go to the complete details ...
