Hi Ya'll,
I have a ASCX web user control on my page that has html input buttons and text box (not asp controls).
I wrote a public function to return the value of the html text box so I can read it from the main page:
public string getNumber()
    {
        return Request.Form["myNumber"];
    }
but it doesn't work.
I replaced the 'Request.Form["myNumber"];' with 'test' and got the test working so I know the problem is in the ascx and not in the main page.
I placed an asp text box on the ascx and replaced the 'Request.Form["myNumber"];' with 'TextBox1.text' mand it worked.
Meaning, the ascx cannot post to the main page the value of the html control.
The reason that I must have html controls is that this application is used with mouse only (touch screen) and no keyboard and the html buttons ...
