I am working on web development that requires me to write ID into registry each time the website is launch.Here is my codes :
Dim key1 As RegistryKey = Registry.CurrentUser.OpenSubKey("Software", True)
Dim pRegKey1 As RegistryKey = Registry.CurrentUser
pRegKey1 = pRegKey1.OpenSubKey("Software\MMKey\MMName\Path", True)
pRegKey1.SetValue("KioskID", kioskID)
The problem is,when i run it on my local,it runs perfectly.But,in server environment,the ID cannot be store into registry .How did it happen?Pls help.I am really new in asp.net and perhaps your help can guide me through this.Thanks.
