Im creating a master page that embeds a menu from elsewhere on our site. The 'elsewhere' is a menu structure that is controlled independently of my software and by another team, so I dont get to change it. A user logs in, and becomes authenticated. They click the link on the menu pointing to my software. I want the menu to remain on the left so they see the rest of the functionality provided by other sources (and the links to mine) at all times.\
However, when I load it, the authentication (which was active vanishes):
