I am using system.net.mail class to send mail from an asp.net page using .net 2.0. I am using the localhost smpt server on IIS.
ISSUE: All emails get "sent" no matter what address I use in the To: field and NO SmtpExpcetion is thrown. An "undeliverable" email is sent listing the server response, but I can't catch the exception.
I have tried just about everything from using different smtp hosts, delivery methods, and on different servers.
The code is the same as all the microsoft msdn examples, so I'm not sure what the issue is. Any help or insight is appreciated.
