I am using Request.ServerVariables("LOGON_USER") using in my code to get the username currently logged on to my domain. The code works fine on my Windows XP machine which is part of the domain and every user and access the page with their username properly returned. I have anonynmouse access turned off and Inetrated Authetication on in my IIS. When I move this code to Windows Server 2003, I dont get the username any more. The difference is that Anonymouse Access and Integrated Authentication are both turned "ON' on the Server IIS. If I turn Anonymouse access off on the server, I start getting a logon prompt.. which I dont on my XP test box.
What am I doing wrong?
