I have setup a login page for my website, on the page I have a link to a Registration page to allow them to cretae their user id etc. I am using the CreateUser control. This works fine but when they click on the "Create User" button I get an error it can not find the Sql server. My understanding is it creates a embedded database in the App_Data directory.
This does work on my developement machine but when I ported it over to the server it fails. Where does the wizard store its connection info? I do not see anything in the web.config. this looks like another problem with the sql server instance name on my development machine vs the instance name on the server, but I don't understand if it embeddes the data in the ASPNETDB.MDF file in the APP_data dir why would it make a difference?
