Kinda new at Webservices. I have inherited this ASP.NET AJAX site that is almost complete. It consists of the site and a service. It seems that when this solution was started everything was started under "New Project" and not "New Website". Consequently the Web service had a namespace in the main site. I am attempting to compile this but I am receiving this error on many pages and lines:
The type or namespace name '<Web Service Name>' does not exist in the namespace '<Site Name>' (are you missing an assembly reference?) <File Path>
My question is it right to have the webservice as a namespace within the main site to reference the webservice objects? How would I add the webservice in as a namespace..I know this is probably a noob question.
In the instance above the webservice returns an array of Cartons and object defined in the Webservice.
