String Split Question

Hi all,

I am using the following code to split a string wherever a space occurs and to write the results into separate records in a database:

Dim TagString As String() = Nothing

TagString = Split(txtTags.Text, " ")

 

It works fine...but...I want to NOT split words when they are enclosed by quotes.

 

For example, the following text:  These Will Be Split

 ...will result in four separate separate database entries...one for the word "These", anot ...
