I am facing a peculiar problem for the past few days.
A VB6 application complied on a windows 7 64 bit machine dosent run on any 32 bit machine.
I have located the problem which is when i connect to the sql 2005 server using an odbc connection.
CS.Open "odbc_name", "id", "pw"
However, if I compile the same program on a 32 bit machine, the application works perfectly.
The confusing part is that that there was no problem of this kind a few days ago.
My guess is also that since my system is set for windows auto update, SP1 which has recently loaded could have caused this problem.
ANY SOLUTIONS ?
