I’m new to asp.net and I’m trying to figure out a way to save the scroll position of a page and to then set it later.
Basically, I have a page which has a fairly long listview of items, a user clicks on an item and it takes them to a new page, they respond to some questions and then are redirected to this main page and this item has been removed from the list.  Since, the list is long; it would be nice if the user would return to the scroll position (or close enough) when they selected their item so they would have to constantly scroll down.
Not sure if this would work but my approach was to add a property to the master page and when the user clicks an item in the listview the scroll position would be saved as a property, and on page load the property would be retrieved and the scroll position set.   Not really sure how to capture or set the scroll position or if this will even work.
Thanks
