I'm trying to get logged in AD user in Session_Start event of Global.asax file, But it is working fine on our development machines and not working when deployed on QA machine.Below is the code which i'm using for username retrieval of domain.
Request.ServerVariables("AUTH_USER")
On development machines, It is showing Domain\loggedinusername (which is right). But on QA machine it is displaying as
(MachineName\username)
Note: QA machine is also on same domain, I'm not able to understand this strange behaviour.. Can anyone please correct me..
