sending 50 emails with a time interval of 2sec between each email.

 Hello All,
i have a customer table in SQL DB. the table has four fields namely custid, custFirstname, custLastname, custEmail.
i am sending the order confirmation by using this table. right now, i am sending by clicking a button called email in a aspx page. but the problem i have to click the button email for each and every email
so if i have to send 50 emails, i have to hit the email button 50 times.
what i was wondering is there anyway, i can click the button once and its send the 50 emails after the other with a time interval of 2 to 3 secs between each email.
is this possible. sorry if i posted in the wrong forum, 
any help or advice or references would be highly  appreciated.
