I have a self relation table employee

here empid is autoincrement
i have two textboes and one dropdownlist
here i have two situations:
1)while i am creating managers i want to choose null from dropdownlist and one empid will be generated.
2) and while i am creating new employees i want to choose this empid as manager to current employee.
