how to do video streaming ?

Thanks for your attention and time.
I am doign a video site where videos are uploaded on server. Visitors can play videos. For playing videos I am passing video name and path form cs page to aspx page where it is played in windows media player.
Problem is that it do not streat video rather it wait for complete video to be donwloaded and then it play it at once. In case of large videos it take about an hour and then paly; how it can strea/ buffer it while palying downloaded parts.

Thanks in anticipation,
Best Regards,

Haansi
