I'm running VS2005 SP2 on the inbuilt server (but have also tried pointing it to IIS 6) I've created a new website (in c#), set debugging to true in the web.config file and set breakpoints, however I am unable to debug- I can set breakpoints but they are ignored, as if I'm just running the site without debugging.
I'm going through the asp.net tutorial video on debugging and trying to replicate what I'm being shown.
While investigating the problem I found a suggestion to delete the DLLs and PDB files in the bin folder which made sense to me, however I do not have a bin folder - even after I build the website.
This is confusing for me because I have been working with asp.net for some time on existing projects but have very little experience of creating projects and apparently of the basics of asp.net.
