I am trying to make enhancements on asp.net application that was created in VS2008 and probably hosted on IIS 6.0, when I opened it up VS2010, I clicked on YES to upgrade to latest version.
When the following line is executed
Directory.CreateDirectory(local_path + local_env + "Results\\" + resultsFileName.Replace(".xml", "\\") + FileNames[x].Replace(".trx", ""));
I get the following error message:
[UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'C:\inetpub\wwwroot\MyPersonalWeb\Results\111011_073145__QA_Results\_QA_Results_111011_073145' is denied.]
I have IIS 7.0 installed on my machine and OS is Windows Server 2008 R2.
The settings in IIS are
Application Pools
Managed Pipeline Mode = Classic, .NET Framework version = v2.0.50727, Identity = ApplicationPoolIdentity
My website is under Default Web Site and under security tab for Object C:\inetpub\wwwroot I added DefaultAppPool is a user.
