Hi, i developed a web apps and run in IIS7.0 in Windows Server 2008. I set the identity of AppPools as my admin acct (the account has added to a group that has admin access for all the remote connection server). But, when i try WMI remote connection from the web apps, a weird thing happened and i do not know the reason (i'm newbie). The group with admin access is added for the remote server Admin group. But, when i connect, it shows error with Access Denied. But, when i add my acct into the remote server Admin group, it works well. Why do this happened??
**As i explained may be quite blur, i write down the condition**
~~ IIS 7.0 --> Identiy : Domain\my_acct
~~ Domain\my_acct inserted to group Domain\group_name
~~ Domain\group_name inserted to Remote Server's Administrator Group (result: Access Deny for WMI connection)
~~ Domain\my_acct insreted to Remote Server's Administrator Group (result: Success for WMI connection)
