Controlling Rendered Path of Webresource.axd

 I've got an odd problem. 
 My asp.net pages are surface through and enterprise portal product.  This product proxies requests from the browser to my asp.net page.
 The problem is that with any controls that use Webresource.axd, cannot find it because it is on a relative path /Webresource.axd when rendered (and the portal does not proxy it correctly).
 What I need is for the address to render something like this: "https://myremotetier.com/myapp/Webresource.axd"

 I was playing around with a control that examines the other controls on my page during the OnPreRender event, but I've been unsuccessfull in manifesting this change.
 Is there any way to control the rendered path to this virtual file?
