Hi all,
I am struggling terribly trying to learn now to reproduce php sites in ASP.net. I have a great opportunity to advance at my current company if I can learn this technology, but diving right in seems to have caused more harm than help. It seems that ASP.net is not as flexible as php in creating websites. Everything seems stock, with little customization.
Am I missing a big part of this? I live in Las Vegas, are there any colleges here that I can enroll in to learn more? Do I need to learn any foundation languages like VB or C#? Are there any online classes you can recommend? My company is willing to pay for future education, so I'd like to take advantage of that rather than rely on the forum and tutorials. I feel my issues are more fundamental and basic anyway.
