Ajax+Callback works with class instances

I am using ajax+callback in my web application.I need to send out and back class instances to and from server. So i am using javascript serializer and deserializer for the object instances.

However,if the class contains collection type of fields such as Collection<Class> etc., it is not handy to handle objects of this type.

 My questions are

1.Is there better ways to manage objects with ajax + call back instead of serialization and deseriazation.
2.How to handle the collection type of fields?
