Hi all,
Our company has lots of users that are offsite and have access to external computers (not on our network).  So we've decided we want to create web applications that are internet-based which our employees can use to do their job.
In talking with the IT Manager we would have the a Web server in the DMZ and not on our domain (for security purposes), but yet we want to use Windows authentication since it's only employees accessing the web site and we already have everyone in Active Directory.
My questions are:
1.  How would I authenticate a Windows user given that the web server is not on our domain (an example would be appreciated).
2.  I use SQL Server stored procedures to access data, how would I do that given the fact that the Web server is in the DMZ and not on our domain?
Does this idea seem sound?
Thanks,
John
