I have been programming with C# and ASP.NET for some time. Now, I've got a freelance job that requires me to develop a product for a company. It would be running on a computer at the office reception and is to be used by the customers that visit the company to fetch information about the company, give feedback, do some searching, etc.. It will also have a Ticker and something like the AdRotator running on the page and it will be running on a TouchScreen.
I need to know whether I should use Windows Forms or ASP.NET to develop the product? Also, I would be glad to have some good suggestions from you so that I can develop the product with a good design and smoothly.
Also, if the product is developed using ASP.NET, how should I deploy it to the customer? Please provide some information regarding this, too.
