I' have a DropDownList that its in a Dataview in an UpdatePanel. I have a CheckBox that changes what info should be bound to the DropDownList. I have tried a couple different ways to rebind the data. When I debug it, it runs through the code fine, then when it exits the function the browser goes not responding for a minute then finally refreshes. I experience the same problem outside of debug. So it eventually loads, but it takes a minute or more to do so... I have two approaches below. One calls the function again and adds the paramater to the command (currently commented out). The other filters the Session DataView.
