When I am trying to change an accounts password through my custom membershipprovider, and the new password does not match the regular expression the old password is automatically reset? And if I disable resetPassword, I get an exception saying password reset is disabled. Of course I want the old password to still be there if the change fails, I do not wish to reset it. What cause this beaviour and what to do?
