What is the best way to parse this string

Hi-
 
I'm looking for the best way to go about extracting these numbers using vb.net out of a string as such:
 
+90/-120
The end result would be two variables one that contains 90 and another that contains 120
v1=90
v2=120
 
currently I'm using split("/") and then using remove to get rid of + sign and - sign but seems like there should
be a more clever way to do it..not really familiar with regular expressions but probably would work here. Thanks
