I have a web site on an offsite virtual server which redirects to a web application on my local host. The web application works fine in debug mode, and it works fine when called directy from my local browser, but when I try to call it from the virtual server's web site it acts as though it can't find it.
I had previously created the web application as a web site on my localhost, and in that situation the redirect from the virtual server had been working fine. But after switching from the web site to a web application, the redirect no longer works.
Question: how can I get debugging to work on published web apps? I'd like to find out where and why the redirect from the virtual server to the localhost works when the localhost has a published web site, but not when the localhost has a published web app.
