Hi,
I have a file say Hi.XLS , i am trying to move this to another folder through windows command :
Error I am getting: "The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect."
EXEC ('xp_cmdshell "MOVE C:\Users\sthakkelapati\Desktop\Failure\Hi.XLSX''C:\Users\sthakkelapati\Desktop\Success\"')
I am able to access the folder locations and able to open the file Hi.XLS when i execute them through run command.
I have configured the sql server to execute the above command through SP_reconfigure Xp_comdshell, the value is now 1.
Is there any issue with the above command /is there thing that i need to set in sqlserver ??
Please suggest.
