In our WCF development we?re having to freuqently delete WINDOWS temp files to overcome a persistent error. By persistent, I mean that an error occures intermitently throughout development,. The error may also popup in the morning, without having made any changes to code since the previous day. It?s happening on all the WCF projects that we are working on. The problem occures on the two PCs were using for WCF development, one 2003 Server and one XP, both with 3.5 SP1.
The files we delete are located here: C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files\dev_csas_simple_5\... , where dev_csas_simple_5 is the name of the current virtual directory. The dlls in these temp files are difficult to delete, sometimes more easily deleted following a restart ? which is a big pain. I think that the problem dlls are App_Code.xxxxxxxx.dll and App_Web_xxxxxxx.dll.
The error message is ?Microsoft Jscript runtime error: ?Simple? is undefined?
