How to create a cookie on ASP.NET and read in with Javascript?

Hello everybody,

 I was wondering if I could do what the post label says. I need to read a textfield from a Browse File... textbox, and pass its location to a page which also has a Browse File... textfield and put it there.

Is this doable? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
