I have a requirement that any user in role X is not allowed to touch a speific field in my DB. They can create and update records, but just can't insert or update this one field (lets call this field - fieldY).
Right I am thinking that this will require a second stored procedure for each operation (so that I don't touch this field), but I was curious if anyone knew of a more elegant solution?
