I have deployed a site on a VPS and its not running as fast as I would have hoped. Its getting less than 100 visitors a day at the moment but the page load is too long.
The VPS has 2gb ram so I thought I could use caching to reduce the workload each time.
Its a property website so while the index page and the individual property pages are dynamically pulled from a database the data they are pulling doesnt change much. The site is being updated at most once a day.
I've read around with some caching articles but they seem to be more geared to high traffic sites and caching data for 60 seconds.
My scenario is more along the lines of cache it for a few hours and ideally scrub the cache if the data changes. Or cache it until it changes?
Which type of caching should I be reading?
