I'm redesigning the website, and would like a glossary to provide definitions of industry-specific terms to visitors of the site. I could create a data-driven webpage that would create a glossary page based on information from a table (Excel spreadsheet, or SQL table), but I would really like this: any time I use a glossary term on the website, it is highlighted (settings in website CSS), and when the user hovers over the word, a small textbox shows the definition. I'd like to set up the website to do this automatically- so I don't have to add links everytime I use a glossary term.
Is this doable? If so, would I have to install some additional program on our web server (our website is hosted with godaddy) Is there a tuturoial that could walk me through the process of setting this up?
