At an windows xp computer, there is a sql server 2008 installed.
For some odd reason, the servie mssqlserver , does not autostart.
Even more, after i mark it to "autostart" it will return to manaul, after some time, a week , maybe days. i am not sure the time is the reason to blame.
Tried to change the serivce premeissions to "local system account" , which lead to no change in behivior.
Do you have an idea what is the reason the sql server is not auto starting and needs to manualy restart?
