Inside a web service (asmx) I have to resize an image.
The web service receive an image URL, from the URL I need to get the image and then resize it.
This is my code ()
wc = new WebClient();
imageData = wc.DownloadData(url);
stream = new MemoryStream(imageData);
img = new Bitmap(stream);
//resize image
img = ResizeBitmap(img, 50, 50);
The second line of the code is generating the error bellow:
System.IO.IOException: Unable to read data from the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.
System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host
Any idea how to fix it? ... or an alternative aproach
