I have a project that I have been working on for about a year. I had to image my hard drive recently and since then I have had some odd problems. For about a week I was unable to get any users authenticated as I was looking for the problem and posting on the boards it suddenly just started to work although I have not changed a single thing.
I now have another issue where when a user logs into my site after they have been authenticated I check a DB to see if they are a new user or not and update or insert information and if they are a new user all the code executes as expected and the Response.Redirect fires but the page is never loaded and I just see the login page again. I they log in again it goes without a problem.
