Close window aspx

Hello,
i have a window 1.aspx where I do input of for example 10 orders. When the 10 orders are ready, the program must automatically show a new window (2.aspx) with a crystal report. This is done without any problem. The tricky part that doesn't work is to close the 1.aspx window because it isn't needed anymore. This doesn't work. It just closes the input window and doesn't show 2.aspx.
