I was under the impression that interfaces were not supposed to contain any implementation details.  What follows is an interface that seems to contain implementation:
public interface BaseEntity { int ID { get; set; } int InsertOperID { get; set; } DateTime InsertDateTime { get; set; } int UpdateOperID { get; set; } DateTime UpdateDateTime { get; set; } int Status { get; set; } Binary Version { get; set; } } I have two questions:
1. I am not sure why gets/set properties are allowed in an interface. Can anyone please explain why this is okay?
2.  Does this force all classes that implement this interface to create its own get/set properties that match the get/set properties from the interface?
...

Go to the complete details ...
