Making membership data available through Entity Framework or SQL?

I just began on using ASP.NET and MVC3 for a project, having only experience with PHP.
 
I understand that the default user data and roles are stored in another DB. Suppose I wish to perform SQL / LINQ queries on membership information, how do I go about doing it? I have just followed the MusicStore tutorial, so I am using Entity Framework as the ORM. 
 
1. Is it possible to include membership data/role to be accessible through Entity Framework?
2. If not, how can I run usual SQL queries (or LINQ queries) on membership data?
