ASP application - how to make Excel processes open on the client machine instead of server?

Introduction:
While developing my simple application I used functions to open Microsoft Excel to import some data to the database. Recently I moved the website to IIS on a separate PC and... of course turned out that Excel starts on the server instead of client PC. How can I change that?
