I presented a website to one of the business leaders in our company yesterday, and things went great. I came out with a list of 15 changes, some major, some minor, that he either recommended, or that I noticed during my presentation. One of those changes was to include a dynamic login/logout feature in my menu control.
I found some great code online to do this (essentially hides login if user is logged in, hides logout if user is not). I implemented this code in the Menu1_Databound event of my masterpage. I then added one <sitemapnode> line item to my web.sitemap.
After doing this, now my masterpage doesn't render properly. I use css to create a tableless layout (yet still use tables - wierd). My code is below.
