Have ASP.NET Membership database installed and used for my application Authentication and Authorization.
It is working fine.
Now it is required to send emails to the email addresses in aspnet_membership table - Membership database.
I think it is doable and I have two options to choose from
Configure SQL Server to shoot email message (Is it Notification services in SQL Server?)
or code to read this from Membership database and send email message.
Please let me know standard/accepted approach.
