I have a problem where when I try to host a webservice (asmx) page on my .NET 2.0 website (using asp.net membership features). In testing I've tried to add the service to a page on the same website I have the service on. When I use the add web reference, it says the object was moved. I was presuming this has to do with form authentication which I have tried to allow full access to that folder. But I think it is the form authentication process that has the bug in it. I tried moving the Webservice into it's virtual directory and specifying a webconfig for it, but for some reason, the profile system from asp.net membership keeps adding itself. I am not sure how to override the asp.net membership options in a sub web.config file.
