Hello forum users,
I have begun to design an ASP.net intranet application that will run on an admin account in a windows domain, on Windows Server 2008. This application is going to be tasked with controlling access to the internet based on internal IP address (this machine has the NIC which is connected to the internet), granting temporary access to those who have been given a time slot.
I was directed here from the main microsoft forums when I asked what people believe are the most appropriate technologies to use to accomplish this task. I was personally veering down the route of altering routing tables.
I am a little unsure of whether the ASP.net forums are the most appropriate place, however, as it's almost incidental that this is being presented to the users through an intranet page. If I am right in thinking this could I be directed to a more appropriate forum please?
Thanks
