I am setting on a new web form on a C# 2010 application that I am having a problem with that utilizes a formview control. I want the user to only be able to view some fields and edit other edits. Also if possible for the fields that the user can not view only, I would prefer the fields to be locked and not look like they can edit the field. In the code I provided below you will see the following: 1. For label 9 for the Cer_Due_Date value, the user can not change the value and the field is locked. 2. For TextBoxPayMth"and TextBoxPayYear, the field is not locked and the user can update the values in the database. For these two fields, I do not want the user to be able to edit these fields. Also if possible, I would like these fields to be locked so the user does not even think they can edit the fields. I am hoping you can make suggestions on what I could change.
