How do I make my calendar stay visible after the user has clicked the previous/next month button?

I am using the calendar control from asp.net. when I click the next month button, the calendar disappears.
I want it so that when the user clicks the next / previous month button, the calendar stays visible on screen until the user has selected a date.
Is there a property for this?
